Lakewood's Kitchen 1924 re-opens for lunch
This news is so new that it's not even on the restaurant's web site yet. But the Lakewood favorite started serving lunch again about a week ago, says Kitchen boss Shawn Horne.
The lunch menu is less ambitious than dinner, focusing on counter service -- the better to get customers in and out quickly, Horne says.

A most welcome change. Add that to York Street's Wednesday lunch and the coming of Ali Baba. It's getting harder and harder to get any work done in the afternoon around here.

I loved Kitchen 1924 as a lunch spot. I'll try to reinforce that opinion next week by stopping by for some comfort food.
