By the way, the flood warning has now been updated to extend through Monday morning. From weather.com: AT 1000 AM THURSDAY THE STAGE WAS 39.95 FEET * MODERATE FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MODERATE FLOODING IS FORECAST. ... THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RECEDE AND FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY SUNDAY EVENING. * AT 40 FEET MAJOR FLOODING WILL OCCUR IN DALLAS ALONG THE RIVER. So, yeah, we're pretty damn close to major flooding. But then if we weren't, I guess Sam Champion wouldn't be here. And my Weather Channel-addicted father in Phoenix would quit calling me to see if I'm treading water yet. (Love ya dad!)
