Friday Nov. 7, Mockingbird Station launches Hot Holiday Happenings live-music nights. From 5 to 7 p.m., catch Watching Cars, a Texas duo that plays a unique blend of homespun roots and understated pop. The Haz Benz ,
which combine classic Rock & Roll sounds with "good ole boogie
blues”, play from 7 to 9 p.m Surrounding restaurants and bars including
Margarita Ranch, Urban Taco and Rockfish will host happy hours during
concerts.

Sunday Nov. 9, 11-5, Junius Heights Arts and Crafts Fair. Insider tip: Look for the Advocate’s own Sally Ackerman. She’ll be selling gorgeous hand-knitted scarves — she brought some into the office last week and all the girls went crazy over them.
